Cutler & Co @ Melbourne (Fitzroy), Australia

We started off with a great dinner on our first night and it continued on to our second night.

Cutler & Co is located in Fitzroy, north-east of central Melbourne.  We had our rental car with us so getting there was easy.  Again, there was no special holiday menu (which I was never a fan).   And of course, kids friendly, with kids menu too.

Love the high ceiling, the space and modern deco.

Tipo 00 @ Melbourne, Australia

Due to it was holiday seasons, I made reservations for Christmas Eve, eve of Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve almost a month in advance.

Our first dinner in Melbourne was at this small Italian restaurant on Little Bourke Street.  Not only do they welcome kids, they also served their regular menu on the 23rd. 🙂

They don’t have a big menu but they do very good dishes especially their pasta.

It is a small place and very popular so reservations is highly recommended.

Melbourne, Dec 2015 – Places

I am very behind with my postings, got to get moving before our next Australia trip.

We took over night flight and arrived Melbourne in the morning.  We took SkyBus from airport to the city and then their complimentary hotel transfer.

We stayed at Citadines on Bourke before and we chose to stay there again for the convenience and also their rooms are very clean.

After a quick brunch, we walked over to Federation Square, strolled along the graffiti lanes, and the famous shopping arcades.   Dinner was at Tipo 00, walking distance from the hotel.

The next day was just as relaxing, even though every where was packed with busy shoppers.  Met up with friends for lunch at Queen Victoria Market but a lot of the seafood were sold out by mid-day.  Rest of the day was just (window) shopping and feeling the Christmas spirits.  We also had to pick up our rental car before as they are closed on Christmas Day (some branches do open on Christmas Day but not convenient for us).
