The key reason why we picked this restaurant is because it is right next to the theatre but it is also a popular restaurant with many branches across the country. Food was well above average but service was a bit slow. However, it is a good meal option for theatre goers. Lobster bisque – yummy! Never thought of adding cheese to lobster bisque but it was actually quite nice. Lobster spaghetti – kids were happy with it.
Prawns – a bit too oily
Scallops with bacon and salad
Espresso Panna Cotta – surprisingly good.
The day’s agenda was Piccadilly Circus, Regent Street, Westend Musical and Covent Garden. Weather continued to be fantastic!
We had lunch at the nearby Loch Fyne before going to the theatre.
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory – Fun and exciting musical. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Theatre Royal Drury Lane is such a beautiful theatre.
After theatre, it was shopping in Covent Garden area. One of our favourite thing to do was to shop for candies! 🙂
