For the kids…
Before we went visit any temples, we first went to get elephant ride at the Bayon temple. It basically took us for a walk around the temple once.
First temple of the day was Banteay Srei…beautiful temple with stones in different colors.
You could see local artists painting everywhere at the temple.
Then we went to Banteay Samre…it was getting close to mid day, very very hot… We went pass some rice fields on the way…Before we head to Ta Phrom, we stopped for lunch on the way. This was literally “pineapple fried rice”.
Based on recommendation from TripAdvisor, we booked Mie Cafe for dinner on the 2nd night. It was indeed difficult to find but thanks to tour guide for calling them to get their location.
(Sorry for the bad quality photos)
We had their “testing menu” (not tasting menu :)) and it was a very satisfying meal.
