Today was mostly on the east end – St. Paul’s Cathedral, Tower of London, HMS Belfast and Borough Market.
I personally prefer Westminster Abbey but nevertheless a beautiful church and kids enjoyed walking up to the whispering gallery.
Tower of London – the queue to see the crown jewels was too long for us, we visited other parts in the castle and learnt some interesting London history instead.
My daughter kept reminding us that this is the Tower Bridge. 🙂
In the afternoon we crossed the real London Bridge to Borough Market
This was a great find – fresh & tasty oysters at a good deal.
From Borough Market to HMS Belfast was just a 15-mins walk. It was a worth-while visit, we went to the different levels to see the different facilities including the engine room.
View of Tower Bridge from this side of the river was magnificent, too bad it was a cloudy day.
