Kiyomizu-dera 清水寺, Kyoto, Japan

If I were to choose one temple to visit in Kyoto, then Kiyomizu-dera it is…

We took one of the many bus from Kyoto station, got off at Gojo-zaka 五条坂 and walked up to Kiyomizu-dera.  It was a rather easy walk cause it wasn’t packed with visitors.OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

We left the area via Matsubara dori where most shops and visitors are.  On our way down we stopped by this dessert shop and had dessert + lunch.OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA It is a hidden gem, so quiet and relaxing, just one alley away from the main street.OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
