Taipei 2014 – National Palace Museum & Ningxia Road Night Market


We started off our day 2 with soya milk and Chinese style pastry at a local stall one station away from the service apartment…it was already mid morning when we got there and only a few locals at the stall….we thought we went to the wrong place until one customer told us this place is usually packed early in the morning 🙂

Next stop was the National Palace Museum 故宮博物院…it is easily accessible by train and bus…

The museum is huge and there are so much to see, could easily spend a day there…

We also went back to the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall to visit a surprise for this trip – Yuka the woolly mammoth! (We missed her tour to HK previously)

For dinner we went to a Taiwanese restaurant recommended by local and of course another night market visit…

Ning Xia Road Night Market 寧夏夜市 – Bigger than the night market we went to the previous night,  here you can also eat in.
