We pretty much decided to go to this restaurant because of the photo of one of its signature appetizer…it was a great meal after all.
We would have missed it if i didn’t use gps – the signage was tiny, very dim light and the ground floor has only the bar lounge.
After checking in our coats, we were led down to the basement were the restaurant area is.
L and I ordered two different sets so photos below are a mix of the two…
Tofu with tomato
Beef sushi & roll – good beef!
Here came the fun – shrimp tartar
Shrimp tartar, caviar, dipping sauce and condiment
Foie gras – hubby’s favorite
Abalone & lobster
This ain’t ordinary veggie dip – it was made with crab roe!
Kobe beef – we had them done medium but we think with the amount of fat inside, probably better if it was done medium well
Very nice mash
Fried rice with garlic & lobster soup – very hard not to finish it. lobster miso soup
We then headed up to the lounge on 2nd floor for dessert and coffee. The have a real fireplace!
Too bad my photo couldn’t justify this cheesecake..it was very yummy…somehow cheese cake and melon go really well together
