Wild Honey @ Scotts Square, Singapore

As much as I like their food, I always find it very discouraging to go there because of their long queue. We decided to try our luck last weekend and were even prepared to go off shopping after registering for the queue. When we got there we found out they finally take reservation for parties of all size at Scotts Square and were told we might be able to get a table at 3pm! (It was around noon at the time). The good thing is you would instantly give up waiting…lucky for us we got called back before we walked out of the mall and we got a 1.5hr time slot right away.

This is one of those fine dining place that I can bring kids and not feel pressured. And they have nice view of MBS.

Joël Robuchon Restaurant @ Resort World Sentosa, Singapore

Big thanks to hubby for taking me to this very fine restaurant as my birthday treat….

This is the kind of place we would likely patron once (very high price tag) so we decided to make the best of it and went with the degustation menu!  It was a 13-course menu but more like 15 and portion was not small considering the number of courses.
