There is a new crab place opened near home recently. By its signage and photos on the wall, guess it should be a new branch of a popular restaurant in the area. We got the last table indoor and soon the tables outdoor were filled as well.
Beans fried with minced dried shrimps…kids loved this!
Butter prawn…I likes the sauce but prawns were not fresh enough.
Crab in broth (more like sauce)…but they forgot the meehoon…
With meehoon added, more like it but a bit messy…
The crab was okay but not the freshest kind and their price was comparable to those at east coast seafood center. But with the walking distance from home, wouldn’t mind going there again when I crave for crabs.
First time after two years! All because I saw the photo of their kids section…
Very spacious area with quite a collection of children books. Kids will love spending time here. The best part is you don’t have to “shhhh…”
These cardboard objects are everywhere in the library.
You can even sit on these cardboard chairs.
We usually avoid tourist attractions on weekend during peak season but that left with very little choice for a 4-day super long weekend. So we thought river safari would be a better option and it turned out to be good and bad. The good thing was comparing to the crowd at the zoo main entrance, river safari looked like an abandoned park with few people. The bad thing was despite it has opened since beginning of the year, the river cruise is still not ready!
Well, comparing to the zoo, that aren’t too much to see at river safari but the kids were not overwhelmed and managed to spend more time reading the signs and description.
Red Pandas are sooooo adorable!!
Our lucky day!! Both pandas were actively eating and the place was not crowded!
A very good exhibition for kids @ SAM at 8Q, showing kids different forms and different dimensions of art. We spent over 2 hours there, so if you know my kids, you will think it must be good.
Here are some highlights…
This was done by students
Very “Alice in wonderland”…
Made with yarn
