First time trying celebrity restaurant at MBS. The place was quite full consider it was a weekday night. Portions are quite big especially for the steaks
complimentary cheese puffs – delicious!
Prawn cocktail – refreshing
Bone marrow – nice, not too heavy
sirloin – very well seasoned, excellent on its own, no need for any sauce (unfortunately, it was too dark for a good photo)
very pleased with the dessert as well
First time here & had a lunch date with hubby. Somehow this restaurant gives me a very tourist & business like feeling (despite the obvious fact that it is inside a hotel).

Overall, appetizers and mains were fine but dessert was disappointing.

To best utilize the layered cakes (eating them isn’t), I tried making cake pops. The most tricky part turns out to be melting the chocolate and getting it to the right consistency.
Practice #2 – with another cake recipe and fondant
Tried with putting all batter in one pan and it took double amount of time to fully bake.
This recipe is less dense and I quite like the taste.
fondant is fun but took me quite some time to get the color right.
